16-16 Nov 2020 Paris (France)

The mission

Concordia is a unique place for research, with the potential to attract scientists from all over the world. Today, the future development of science at Concordia involves setting scientific priorities and hosting international research programs. The purpose of this prospective is to help us establish a short, medium and long-term Science Plan for the Concordia station. At the end of February 2020 a bilateral government meeting Italy-France took place in Naples, and the two Ministry of research signed a declaration of intent to enforce the collaboration in Concordia, foster its opening to host international scientists in the future, and invest in infrastructures in the coming years.

The purpose of this prospective is to bring together the Italian and French scientific communities willing to share their thoughts and expectations through this online forum prior to the elaboration of a Science Plan for the future of Concordia. This Science Plan will be used as guidance for future investments.
